Writing steps in creating the ‘Life Story’

Intro to Life Story journal entries:

The thing that I regret most about my life is _____________________. (forgiveness assignment)

The saddest moment in life was when ________________________. (forgiveness assignment)

The thing that scares me the most is _________________________.(forgiveness assignment)

If I could accomplish one more thing, I would ___________________.
The accomplishment that I am proudest of is ___________________.
If I could live anywhere in the world, I would choose ______________.
My favorite childhood memory is _____________________________.
My greatest strength/gift is____________________________________.

Perspectives & How to use them in our writing:
Where I come from…Where I am…Where I’m going = The Now

Utilize the information from your journal entries to identify these aspects of your Life Story

Character: Archetype/Person in their life

Setting: A place that they have been, lived, etc…

Situation: Related to Learning Experience…Life Story…Creation Story…’I’ Affirmation

Scenic Color: Choose Three objects that bring the scene to life…a window…a piece of furnature…an article of clothing…etc… (colorfully describe the object and its significance) What is the relationship that you have with it.

Choose your three favorite journal entries and create a scene with each of them.
~ Write a poem about the happening, scene, experience
~Create a two character dialogue for the scene
~Write a first person monologue about the experience
~Create a movement piece, that expresses the emotion and forgiveness aspect of your scene
~Create a song about your experience
