Okay, so here we go!
How prepared are you, if your world as you know it, shuts down for three months or ninety days, if you look at it from that standpoint?
I, for one can say, I don’t believe I am! Shocking, but real! If I’m not prepared for a government shutdown, a world crisis, or God forbid, a ‘natural disaster’, can you tell me who might be?
I have come to see part of my irrational- rational, is one of, ‘Well, perhaps if I don’t prepare, if I don’t face the fear/reality, of something that is perhaps inevitable happening, then, perhaps it won’t ever happen!’
Well, even I’m not sure if that makes any common sense! How about you? Or maybe that sounds a familiar bell for you? I for one, do not like change, yet even the best philosophers have stated that ‘Life is Change’. So like it or not, if we are not prepared for change, we can be left totally off guard!
In all fairness, it is better to be safe than sorry. Think about your loved ones, friends, and your own well-being. You and I, owe it to them and ourselves to be ready for what may perhaps be the inevitable.
For growth and change to happen, we need to open our eyes to it, not be afraid of it, use common sense and our own spiritual intuition, and go forth regardless! Trusting in the strength and guidance that will lead us through and to the beyond. Is it scary? Well, yes!! But the alternative can be, in the long run, oh, so much worse! It is said, ‘A coward dies a thousand deaths’!! Once we become sick and tired of being sick and tired, we may find we will finally want to do something different! This is something I can speak of first hand!
Okay, so here’s the deal…here’s the challenge…I’m going first, yet, I challenge each and every one of you out there, to get your &*%*@ in gear, and I’ll do the same, and get prepared for what may happen sooner than we even think!
That entails the following:
- A three month supply of water
- A three month supply of food
- A three month supply of batteries/emergency supplies
- Alternative ways of heating and lighting, in case of gas and power outages for up to three months
- A three month supply of all necessities to continue your daily lives: toiletries, vitamin/medication regimen, etc.
- $$ at easy access, in small denominations (coins, $5 bills, 10’s, singles and gold, if able), in case of bank and economic shut downs.
Remind your friends and loved ones to do the same.
It takes a bit of preparation, but afterwards, you will be set, at least for 3 months, and you can relax and go about your daily lives. After all, in the end we are all in God’s hands anyhow. However, as always, we must do our part, and God will do the rest, at least in my humble opinion. : )
This is Donna Caesar, signing off, and sending peace and light to you and yours!
