
Karla Cardenas is a Mexican-American filmmaker who believes in social justice.
“I believe that by taking the time and listening to someone’s story you can connect, create and love each other. Nowadays there’s a huge need to change the narrative of the latinx Comunity.”
Karla grew up in Tijuana, Mexico with her mother and siblings. She went to Los Angeles to study social sciences and always dreamed of making the world a better place. She supported herself and her family from a very young age and was always an example for her community of being a self-made woman.
