crust dough
– 2 cups whole wheat flour
– 3/4 cub butter (use vegan butter for vegan version)
– 1/2 tsp salt
– apples or pear, thinly sliced
– cinnamon
– sugar
Mix together with hands until crumbly, then slowly add bit of cold water until the dough forms a ball (max 1/2 cup of water).
Put the dough in the fridge for 30 min, then roll out and flatten.
Roll the dough again and store in the fridge for another 30 min. Take it out of the fridge, flatten and cut into circles.
Brush with sweetened oat milk on top (1/2 cup milk, sweetened with 1 tblspoon of coconut sugar)
Fill one half of each circle with apples or pears, cinnamon and sugar.
Brush the edges of each circle before folding over.
Bake at 350 F until brown.
