The Best Chilli Recipe this Side of the Mississippi!
2 cups chickpeas cooked very soft, rinsed with cold water after
2 cups black beans cooked soft, rinsed with cold water after
1 cup lentils cooked medium, rinsed with cold water after
2 cups chopped onion, sauteed until lightly brown in olive oil with 2tp finely chopped garlic and the following spices:
1 TS Cinnamon
2 TS Tumeric
2 ts Coriander
1 ts Oregano
1 ts Nutmeg
half a teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
And 1ts Cumin
Add
Half cup chopped potatoes
Half cup chopped zucchini
1 cup chopped kale
4 cups water
2 cups tomato sauce
quarter cup olive oil
Mix beans and vegetables and onion on medium heat for half an hour, stir chilly periodically.
