A barber in Teesside, UK is spreading holiday spirit by offering free haircuts to homeless individuals this winter.
Barber shop owner Mohammed Niromande is transforming lives one haircut at a time.
Niromande, who arrived in the UK as a refugee 15 years ago, says the gesture is his way of giving back to the community that supported him.
“It’s nice to be nice,” he said. “They need my help now, and one day I might need theirs.”
Since opening his shop just three months ago, the 36-year-old has already welcomed several homeless men for a fresh cut and shave. As word spreads, he hopes many more will come through his doors in the colder months ahead.
