Dr. Holley Muraco is an animal scientist and research professor at Mississippi State University, where her work focuses on marine mammals and One Health. Dr. Muraco is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in Mississippi, with a particular focus on North American beavers. She is also the founder and CEO of Something Wild, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, research, and release of native Mississippi wildlife. In this video she shares her daily life with Petunia, a two months year old beaver that found her way to Holley when she was only 2 beaver baby days old.
